AI dress try-on: prepare a full-length outfit preview

A dress try-on changes a large part of the person image. A full-length photo helps the model see the body area from shoulders to hem. Choose the Dresses category for a single dress or other one-piece.

Include the full dress area

Keep shoulders, waist and legs visible in the person photo. A close-up selfie does not contain enough information for a full-length dress. Use a straight pose and leave space around the body.

Avoid holding a bag across the waist or crossing your arms over the chest. If the original outfit has a large coat, use a simpler base photo instead.

Choose an unobstructed dress reference

Show the complete dress, including the neckline and hem. A single product image is easier to interpret than a montage with several color options.

For patterned dresses, inspect whether the model keeps the general pattern placement. Small print, lace, transparent panels and embellished details may change in the generated preview.

Judge silhouette carefully

The preview can help you explore a general silhouette or color. It is not an accurate simulation of how a particular fabric falls under gravity.

A hem appearing at a certain height does not prove the dress will have that length on you. Check the seller’s garment length and the reference model’s height when available.

Use Dresses in the workspace

Upload your person and dress photos, then select Dresses. You can review both images before a paid generation is offered.

The result is a still image. You cannot turn around in a live camera preview or inspect the back of the garment in this release.

Frequently asked questions

Can I try a long dress with a selfie?

Use a full-length photo. A head-and-shoulders image does not show the area a long dress needs.

Will the result show the exact length?

No. Use the actual garment measurements for length decisions.
